All About Cider Clothing
Cider Clothing is an upcoming fast-fashion brand located in Guangzhou, China with a unique pre-order model that sets itself apart from most other fast-fashion brands.
According to their FAQ page, their garments are produced in smaller batches to help cut down on waste.
They keep a small number of every style in stock in order to minimize waste and rely on their customer based to tell them which styles they love and want to bring back.
When shopping, you’ll notice that some items are labeled in-stock while some others are labeled pre-order in the item description. If you purchase pre-order items, the factory will make these items and then ship them.
Shipping does take longer when you order pre-order items (it takes 5-7 days for your order to be shipped rather than 1-3 days), but this model minimizes waste overall and has a better impact on the planet.
As far as their style goes, they seem very similar to SheIn, but with a smaller selection and a higher focus on very trendy styles marketed towards millennials and Gen Zs.
You’ll notice a ton of crop tops, matching sets, as well as plenty of other styles that are highly relevant to the current season and trends.
Their top categories include dresses, swimwear, accessories, plus-size garments, and more.
Another great feature we don’t see every day with new fast fashion brands is free returns on your first request for every order.
This means that you only have one shot per order to return what you don’t like.
For example, if you place an order containing 5 items and decide to return one thing, this return will be free. But if you decide to return another item from the same order after you’ve already returned that first item, you need to pay for return shipping.
When you place an entirely different order, you can get free return shipping on your first return request again.
So if you’re worried about trying this brand for the first time, you can have peace of mind that you’ll be able to return anything you might not like for free and receive a refund.
The only downside is that you’ll need to make any returns within 14 days of receiving your items. Also, everything must be unworn with tags attached and original packaging.

Cider Customer Reviews
Our Rating: 8/10
So, what do real customers think about this brand? Is it legit?
We’ve analyzed genuine customer reviews as well as watched a variety of haul videos and were impressed with what we found.
Overall, Cider has surprisingly great reviews compared to other Chinese fast fashion brands.
People love the trendy styles, great prices, and even the quality.
Many shoppers were impressed with the quality of Cider garments, even when it came to delicate fabrics like knits and crochet items.
While a $20 dress from them won’t compare to a $100 dress you might buy at a higher-end brand, shoppers are impressed with the quality in comparison to the price.
That said, not everything seems to be perfect, but their generous return policy ensures you can return what you don’t like and receive a refund.
Sizing is another common issue for many Chinese brands, so we wanted to analyze how Cider’s sizing compared.
Although sizing isn’t all-around for all garments sold at Cider, they do share detailed sizing guides for each individual product that help shoppers pick the right size.
These guides share if the garment fits true-to-size, how stretchy it is, and specific measurements for the product.
When following their sizing guides, the majority of customers received items that fit perfectly.
One complaint we found fairly frequently for Cider involved the shipping speed.
Since their products are shipped from China and often need extra time to be made, it typically takes 3–4 weeks to receive your order.
So if you need something that will arrive quickly or that you need to rely on for a special occasion, we wouldn’t recommend relying on Cider.
Is Cider Clothing Ethical?
Unfortunately, while they do share information about their pre-order model and state how they are trying to minimize waste, they don’t share any details about working conditions in their factories.
Because of this, it’s unclear if Cider is an ethical brand or not.
That said, they do briefly say that their factory workers make 4-5x minimum wage.
If you’re worried about supporting an unethical brand, this might not be the best place to shop as we don’t know what goes on in their factories.
Overall, if you’re a fan of affordable fast fashion stores such as SheIn, you will likely end up loving Cider.
Although shipping does take a bit of time since the brand is based in China, many shoppers are happy with the trendy garments they receive and surprised with the better-than-expected quality.
However, if you’re looking for an ethical brand, we’d recommend avoiding Cider as they don’t share any details about their factories. Thrifting is a great alternative for ethical garments that don’t break the bank.
