Why We Started YayReview
Almost every member on our team has been scammed by fake online stores.
You know, those stores that use fake photos and charge insanely cheap prices, then send you something that doesn’t look anything like the item in the pictures.
It’s not fun to waste hard-earned money, so we came together to create a site 100% focused on helpful and legitimate reviews to ensure that these brands don’t take money from anybody else.
Aside from this, we all agreed that there weren’t enough reputable places to find 100% legitimate and helpful reviews in general (even for reputable brands).
So, we started one.

Our team consists of experienced writers, editors, researchers, and most importantly, consumers.
Aside from pinpointing scammy brands, we also review reputable brands and aim to help shoppers make the most educated decision between legitimate brands they are considering.
We have high standards when it comes to products on the market today, so you can believe that we are analyzing every feature of the brands we review and only recommending brands we love.
Our common goal is to provide the highest quality reviews we possibly can to help shoppers make informed decisions when choosing brands to buy from.
Content Process
First and foremost, we check the legitimacy of the brand or website we are reviewing.
This involves analyzing customer reviews and reverse image searching through photos on their website. Many suspicious stores steal images from reputable brands, so we search to see if this is the case.
Each of our reviews involves in-depth research, fact-checking, and insight from our community of real people who may have tried the brand.
If we haven’t ordered from the brand ourselves, we focus on deeper research of genuine reviews out there and even reach out to people who have tried the brand.
Before publishing, our articles go through 3+ members of the team to ensure each piece of content reaches our high standards and doesn’t miss a single detail.
We are also constantly working to improve our content process, so we frequently add new elements in order to create the best possible reviews.
